Streaming accounted for 40.3% of all TV usage. That marks not only the highest proportion of streaming viewership ever recorded, but the best performance for any single category of viewership.

Previously, the record belonged to cable, which reached 40.1% of TV usage in 2021.

Netflix played a huge roll with it’s ‘Bridgerton’ series and other high-performing titles securing 8.4% of all viewers. Still, Youtube outranked with 9.9%.

Amazon Prime Video helped with 3.1% and Hulu with 3%.

Disney+ and Tubi had 2% each.
