Agencies Working To Learn More About Suspect Of Trump Assassination Attempt
20-year-old Thomas Crooks wrote a threatening message on the gaming platform "Steam"' days before the incident.
A briefing was held Wednesday involving the Secret Service, the FBI and U.S. Senators regarding the assassination attempt against Donald Trump.
The agencies informed the Senators that the shooter, 20-year-old Thomas Crooks wrote a threatening message on the gaming platform “Steam”‘ days before the incident.
Crooks allegedly wrote, “July 13 will be my premiere, watch as it unfolds.” The discovery was made as investigators continue to review Crooks’ tech devices, including phones and a laptop.
Investigators also found a few searches in July for Trump, Biden, When is the DNC Convention and info on the July 13 Trump Rally. However, no evidence has been found that the FBI finds notable.
In addition, it was revealed that Crooks’ parents reported him missing the same day of the assassination attempt.
An investigation is still underway to find a motive and learn more.
