Elon Musk To Move Companies Out Of California
Musk has been hinting at moving out of California for sometime and he said that the 'Safety Act' was his "final straw."
Elon Musk announced plans to move his companies out of California.
The billionaire took to ‘X’ to say he will be moving SpaceX’s headquarters from Hawthorne, California to Starbase, Texas. He also shared social media platform ‘X’ will move from San Francisco to Austin.
Musk has been hinting at moving out of California for sometime and he said that the ‘Safety Act’ was his “final straw.”
The law was signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom and prohibits school districts from requiring teachers to inform parents or guardians if a child requests gender identity changes.
Musk then shared a follow-up post explaining he was tired of what he described as violent crime surrounding his buildings.
Neither of the companies or Gov. Newsom have commented on the announcement.
