Wimbledon Tennis Championships Wrap Up With Two Winners

The women's singles final was decided on Saturday with Barbora Krejčíková securing a win to earn her first Wimbledon title.

The Wimbledon Tennis Championships wrapped up over the weekend with two winners.

Carlos Alcaraz  was the men’s singles winner. He won his second consecutive title with a final 7-4 win over the 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic.

This marks Alcaraz’s fourth major trophy and also helped him complete the ‘Channel Double’ since he also claimed the French Open title last month. He is only the sixth man to do so in the Open Era, and the first since Djokovic in 2021.

The women’s singles final was decided on Saturday with Barbora Krejčíková securing a final 6-4 win over Jasmine Paolini to earn her first Wimbledon title.

This also marked Krejčíková’s first singles’ title since the 2021 French Open. The win was the player’s second Grand Slam title.
