On Friday, an altercation ended with one person being shot in the head along Old Mill Pond Road. The victim’s condition is unknown.

William Sheffield is facing charges of attempted murder, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, three counts of pointing and presenting a firearm and manufacturing or distribution of meth.

In addition, Kathy Sheffield was also charged in the incident with obstruction of justice.

The victim was reportedly a family member of both suspects.
