Mother Facing Charges After Son Pulled From Myrtle Beach Resort Pool
The child jumped into the pool at five foot deep and was submerged for six minutes before being pulled out and given CPR.
A mother has been charged after an incident unfolded over the 4th of July weekend.
On Friday, a boy was pulled from the water of a swimming pool at the Caribbean Resort along N. Ocean Boulevard.
The child jumped into the pool at five foot deep and was submerged for six minutes before being pulled out and given CPR. The child’s condition is unknown at this time.
Video surveillance revealed 43-year-old Ana Beccerra-Lira took pictures of the boy in a shallow hot tub before retreating to a lounge chair out of sight of the child. That’s when he jumped into the deep end of the swimming pool.
The mother is now facing one count of unlawfully placing a child at risk.
