According to a mindfulness teacher, getting up earlier can improve confidence because it can feel like an accomplishment. Also, not being in such a rush in the morning can decrease stress and also have a positive impact on mental health.
She adds that using extra morning hours to make time for yourself can bolster productivity and make you feel less depleted by the end of the day.
The only reason she gives for not choosing to get up earlier, would be if you if it creates a barrier to you getting enough restful sleep.
