Four People Died And Nine Left Injured After Arkansas Store Shooting
The suspect immediately began shooting victims in the parking lot and then proceeded into the store.
A shooting at a grocery store in Arkansas on Friday left several people dead and others injured.
44-year-old Travis Posey allegedly opened fire at The Mad Butcher in Fordyce. He was armed with a pistol, a 12-gauge shotgun and had a bandolier with dozens of extra shotgun rounds.
Authorities believe Posey immediately began shooting victims in the parking lot after exiting his vehicle and then proceeded into the store.
Law enforcement responded to the incident around 11:30am and engaged in gunfire. Posey was treated for non-life threatening injuries before being detained.
Four people ages 23-81 were killed and nine others were wounded.
