One of Chicago’s most popular tourist attractions has been reopened to the public after nearly a year of renovations.
Construction on the attraction known as “The Bean” first began in August of last year. Fencing around the sculpture limited close-up access to visitors since.
The work around the plaza surrounding the sculpture included new stairs, accessible ramps and a waterproofing system.
