Former Employees Sue SpaceX And CEO Elon Musk
A letter called on executives to condemn Musk's public behavior on 'X' and to hold all employees accountable for unacceptable conduct.
Several former employees of SpaceX are suing the company along with its CEO Elon Musk.
The employees allege that Musk fired them after they challenged what they referred to as a “rampant sexual harassment and a hostile Animal House style work environment” in the company.
They detailed their complaints in an open letter to management in 2022. The letter called on executives to condemn Musk’s public behavior on ‘X’ and to hold all employees accountable for unacceptable conduct.
The next day, four of the eight plaintiffs were fired. The other four were reportedly terminated later after an internal investigation.
The plaintiffs are now seeking unspecified monetary damages.
SpaceX has not publicly responded to the lawsuit.
