Rover.com wants to help couples planning to get a pet together prepare for the future. The company has created a “pre-pup checklist.” It encourages couples to consider how they would handle the responsibilities of pet ownership if they were to split up. It’s not a legally binding contract but, it aims to help couples make a plan for things like a feeding and walking schedule and even where the animal will live.
