$50k Granted To SC Governor’s School For Science & Mathematics Foundation

The camps are taking place in technical colleges across the state and are for rising 6th-10th graders.

The SC Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics Foundation was awarded a grant from Power: Ed, the philanthropy of SC Student Loan Corporation.

The $50,000 grant will expand the access to STEM education and career opportunities in Hartsville.

The funds will support summer camps, scholarships for students and an initiative for guidance counselors to provide education and career information.
