Horry County Schools is changing up some rules for the upcoming school year.
Starting this fall all students with book bags will be required to carry one that is see through.
The district sent an email to parents that read, “We know it takes a team effort of our staff, students and parents working together to provide the safest environment possible. One of the new safety protocols is the requirement that all students who choose to carry a backpack must use a clear one, starting this upcoming school year.”
The district began requiring the clear bag policy at a few schools last year and is now expanding the rule to all Horry County Schools.
