Crash Involving Two ATVs Resulted In The Death Of One Person

The second ATV sideswiped the stopped four-wheeler and lost control before overturning on the highway.

A four-wheeler accident occurred resulting in the death of one person.

The crash happened just after 9pm Sunday night on Highway 41 near East Legette Road in Marion County.

A Polaris ATV was stopped partially in the roadway when another ATV approached from behind.

The second ATV sideswiped the stopped four-wheeler and lost control before overturning on the highway.

A portion of the highway was shut down as officers investigated the crash.

No other injuries were reported.
