Third Person Charged After 3-Year-Old Fatally Drowned
The father of the girl, Kinshae James, has been charged with unlawfully placing a child at risk and more.
A third person has been charged after a 3-year-old fatally drowned in a Darlington County Creek last month.
The father of the girl, Kinshae James, has been charged with unlawfully placing a child at risk, three counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
James was charged after he allegedly “placed his daughter in an unsafe environment in which the child was exposed to illegal drug use.” Many types of narcotics were discovered at the residence, which were accessible to the girl.
Christian James and Nashanti McCullough were previously charged with homicide by child abuse in the case. They were the girls caretakers and were responsible for her when she reportedly wandered off. Both were charged after the girl was left unattended without proper supervision.
