A new report looked into the most moved-to city in 2024 and our very own Myrtle Beach topped the list! And tied for first place with Myrtle Beach is Wilmington. The research was done by PODS, the moving and storage company. Overall, the company found that more and more Americans are opting to move to southern states. PODS credited the Carolinas’ popularity to its “low cost of living, access to the outdoors, and a solid quality of life.” Other top choices are Ocala, Florida, Houston, and the Greenville-Spartanburg area of South Carolina as well. As for the places where people are moving away from the most, Los Angeles was number one.
