Carolina Country Music Festival To Kick Off Thursday

The Carolina Country Music Festival officially kicks off Thursday.

Performers include country music stars Lady A, Carrie Underwood, Morgan Wallen and many many more.

It is already set up at the Burroughs and Chapin Pavilion Place.

The rideshare location is different this year than last. Rideshare users should plan to be dropped off and picked up along Ninth Avenue North, between Broadway Street and Kings Highway.

There are 11 road closures total surrounding the area.

8th Avenue North including on-street parking is closed to traffic. The 8th Avenue North beach access is also closed.

The westbound lane of 9th Avenue North from Chester Street to Ocean Boulevard is also not accessible.

The eastbound lane of 9th Avenue North from Highway 17 Business to Ocean Boulevard and on-street parking is closed as well.

There are several additional closures.
