Four Additional Hamas Hostages Confirmed To Be Dead By Israeli Military

There are still believed to be 120 hostages who are still being held and 41 are believed to be dead.

Four hostages kidnapped on October 7th were confirmed to be deceased by the Israeli military Monday night.

Each of the men were kidnapped and taken into Gaza still alive and were between the ages of 51 and 84. The circumstances of their deaths in Hamas captivity are still under examination.

More than 250 people were taken hostage during the Hamas attack on Israel, but over 100 were released during a temporary truce last year. There are still believed to be 120 hostages who are still being held and 41 are believed to be dead.

The latest deaths are likely to increase pressure on Israeli leadership to accept a cease-fire proposal presented by President Biden last week. The three-phase peace plan calls for a complete end to the war and release of all hostages living and dead.

It is unclear if the proposal will be accepted or not at this time.
