Around 500 Million Ticketmaster Customers Affected By Major Data Breach

The data allegedly includes credit card numbers, emails, addresses, phone numbers and ticket purchases.

Ticketmaster has confirmed it is conducting an investigation over a data breach.

Parent company, Live Nation, confirmed that it found “unauthorized activity within a third party cloud database environment.”

The information of over 500 million customers has been stolen. The data allegedly includes credit card numbers, emails, addresses, phone numbers and ticket purchases.

It appears that customers’ passwords were not compromised, but cyber experts suggest changing them anyway.

The major data breach comes as Live Nation is facing several lawsuits including one filed by the U.S. Department of Justice.
