Body Of Missing Boater Recovered And Identified

The missing boater's body was found Thursday afternoon in Dogs Lake off of the Great Pee Dee River.

The body of a missing boater has now been recovered.

63-year-old Earl Dennison of Georgetown County was reported missing after he went on a fishing trip Wednesday morning and did not return.

A search mission was underway leading to the discovery of his body Thursday afternoon in Dogs Lake off of the Great Pee Dee River.

It is unclear if an autopsy will be conducted but it appears that Dennison drowned. He reportedly could not swim and did not have a life jacket on the boat.
