Chesterfield County Deputy Arrested Following Brief Pursuit
Patrick Roscoe was immediately fired from his duties and is set to attend a bond hearing Wednesday.
A Chesterfield County deputy was arrested Tuesday night following a brief pursuit in Horry County.
Patrick Roscoe was reportedly driving at high speeds when an officer attempted to pull him over, but he failed to stop.
Police were able to stop Roscoe, he was reportedly in his marked patrol car at the time. However, he was not on duty.
It was revealed that earlier in the day, he ran his patrol car in a ditch in the area of Salem Road in Marlboro County and a passerby helped get it out.
Roscoe has been charged with driving under the influence, having an open container and leaving the scene of an accident.
