North Carolina Man Arrested After Fatal Myrtle Beach Shooting

44-year-old Anthony Garner was arrested on one count each of murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

A North Carolina man faces charges in connection to a shooting in Myrtle Beach.

The incident occurred shortly before 11pm on Saturday along the 2300 block of N. Ocean Boulevard.

A verbal altercation over parking turned violent when shots were fired.

31-year-old Cedric Reddick died on the scene from several gunshot wounds.

Multiple people have been detained as part of the investigation. However, 44-year-old Anthony Garner was arrested on one count each of murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He remains in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
