Hundreds Participate In Walk-Out During Harvard College Graduation

Hundreds who attended the graduation at Harvard Thursday staged a walkout.
The undergraduate walk-out was an attempt to display opposition after the school disqualified 13 students involved in earlier protests.
On Wednesday, Harvard said one of its two governing boards overruled faculty members who had voted to re-invite the 13 student protesters omitted from the commencement.
The move sparked controversy and prompted those to disrupt the occasion.
Some participants began chanting, “Let them walk,” along with other slogans for around 10 minutes.
Despite the outbreak, Harvard stood their ground and did not withdraw their decision.
It was said “several hundred” people participated in the walk-out.
The incident comes amid ongoing demonstrations at schools and universities across the nation protesting against the Israel/Hamas war.
