Bus Crash In Florida Left At Least Eight People Dead And 40 Others Injured
The driver of the Ford pickup was identified as 40-year-old Bryan Howard. He is charged with eight counts of DUI-manslaughter.
At least eight people were killed and many others were injured after a bus crash in Florida Tuesday morning.
The bus was heading west on State Route 40 on its way to a watermelon farm while a Ford Ranger was traveling along the same road in the opposite direction.
The Ford reportedly swerved into the westbound lane and the two vehicles collided “in a sideswiped manner.”
The bus then ran onto the shoulder of the road, hit a fence and two trees before overturning.
The bus was carrying 53 farmers. In addition to the eight people killed, eight are in critical condition, 10 suffered serious injuries, and at least 25 passengers had minor injuries. 40 people in total were transported to hospitals.
