After four years of planning and construction, the pedestrian and bicycle bridge is now open to the public.

A new pedestrian friendly bridge has opened at Thunderbolt Park in Myrtle Beach.

After four years of planning and construction, the pedestrian and bicycle bridge is now open to the public.

The structure connects the multipurpose around the Thunderbolt Park lake, which is located just west of the park itself.

Bikes, people, and pets all welcome on the bridge. Pets must be kept on a leash. However, golf carts are prohibited.
