MBPD To Host Week-Long Course For Guardians Regarding Child Behavior

The course will cover a variety of topics including internet safety and mental health.

The Myrtle Beach Police Department is working to assist parents and guardians to look out for risky teen behavior through a week-long course.

The department recently started accepting sign-ups for its Guardian Academy.

The course will cover a variety of topics including internet safety and mental health. Other topics include suicide awareness and prevention, human trafficking and more.

The course is free and will run June 24-28. It will be held at the Myrtle Beach Train Depot.

The two-hour course will start at 6pm each night.
