A shooting in Robeson County left one person dead and two others injured.

Shortly after 3pm Friday, deputies responded to Children’s Road in Red Springs on reports of two people shot.

Upon arrival, police found 27-year-old Kyle Jones dead and another 26-year-old person injured. A six-month old infant was also shot but faces non-life threatening injuries.

Both the victim and infant were taken to hospitals.
