Carolina Forest High School Receives Three Bomb Threats In Two Days
It has been determined that the calls were a hoax and were traced to an internet server in India.
Carolina Forest High School received three bomb threats in back-to-back days.
On Wednesday the first threat came through a phone call to the front office. The school was evacuated and returned to normal operations after police confirmed it was safe.
Two more bomb threats were made to the school Thursday.
It has been determined that the calls were a hoax and were traced to an internet server in India.
The same server was linked to other recent school threats across the country.
Out of an abundance of caution, the Horry County Police Department conducted another sweep of all the buildings.
However, Carolina Forest High School operated on a normal schedule Friday with additional police officers on the campus.
