Additional Arrests Made In Connection To College Protests

Tensions continue to rise as the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas nears seven months.

Additional arrests have been made in connection to protests across U.S. college campuses.

Pro-Palestinian protests continue to intensify at major universities.

Nearly 100 demonstrators were arrested at the University of Southern California and dozens were arrested at the University of Texas Wednesday.

USC  has closed its campus due to safety concerns.

In addition, more than 100 people were arrested and four police officers were injured Wednesday at Emerson College in Boston.

House Speaker Mike Johnson was heckled by protesters while visiting Columbia University Wednesday. He said Columbia officials had lost control of the situation and called on the university’s president to step down.

The protests were sparked after Hamas’ October 7 attack on Israel.
