McLeod Health Hosts Groundbreaking Ceremony For New Hospital
Officials said this will be the first new hospital built in Horry County since McLeod Health Seacoast opened in 2011.
A groundbreaking ceremony was hosted Monday in Carolina Forest.
McLeod Health held the event for a new hospital.
The $56 million project will be a four-story state-of-the-art facility. It is expected to offer 48 beds ensuring that all patients have access to immediate care.
The new hospital aims to address the need for additional high-quality healthcare services as Horry County’s population continues to grow.
The facility is expected to be completed within the next two years, with an anticipated opening date of 2026.
