Wanted Man Arrested After Traffic Stop In Lumberton
The suspect was charged with nine counts of discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling and first degree murder.
A man wanted out of Robeson County has now been detained.
38-year-old Scottie Tyler was wanted in connection to the alleged shooting and killing of 36-year-old Lydia Hoyos.
The two were recently in a relationship and the victim is the mother of Tyler’s two children.
Hoyos was found dead on Sunday inside her home located along Levi Road.
Tyler was arrested after police performed a traffic stop on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Lumberton Wednesday. He was charged with nine counts of discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling and first degree murder.
Tyler is being held at the Robeson County Detention Center without bond.
