Caitlin Clark No. 1 And Kamilla Cardoso No. 3 Selected In WNBA Draft

The South Carolina Gamecocks defeated The Iowa Hawkeyes this year to secure the WNBA Championship Title.

Two college players were picked in the women’s NBA draft Monday night.

Caitlin Clark is heading to the Indiana Fever. The Fever officially selected her with the No. 1 overall pick.

The two-time national player of the year is now the first Iowa Hawkeyes player ever, to be selected with the top pick in the draft.

Clark finished her college career averaging 31.6 points and 8.9 assists per game, both of which led the country.

In addition, South Carolina’s Kamilla Cardoso is officially a pro as well.

The 6’7 center was drafted as the No. 3 pick in the first round by the Chicago Sky.

Cardoso is the 13th Gamecock to be drafted in the first round pick. She has played for the university since her freshman year.

During her senior year, Cardoso averaged 14.4 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game.
