Junior League of the Grand Strand Hosting Second Annual Rummage Sale
The funds raised from the event will go to support the mission of the Junior League of the Grand Strand.
Christine talks with Brittany Donatelli-Parks of the Grand Strand Junior League about their upcoming rummage sale at the Myrtle Beach Train Depot.
On Friday, April 19th, guests are invited to purchase tickets for a preview night of the sale known as “Sip & Shop.” The event will kick off at 6:00 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m. For a donation of $30, guests can enjoy early access to the sale, light bites, drinks, and entertainment.
This will be a chance to see all of the items available for purchase, and beat the crowds on Saturday. In addition, if you purchase a Sip & Shop ticket, you will be entered into a drawing for a $50 shopping credit. Our VIP experience for the Sip & Shop event requires a $45 donation. Guests will be able to enter the sale at 5:30 p.m on the 19th. Only 30 tickets are available.
On Saturday, April 20th, the public is invited to shop the sale starting at 8:00 a.m. The sale will conclude at 2:00 p.m. Any items that remain will be donated to one of several of the Junior League’s community partners.
Items collected for the Rummage Sale range from lightly used clothes, household furnishings, shoes, accessories, books, and much more. All items are priced to sell!
The funds raised from these events will go to support the mission of the Junior League of the Grand Strand. Additionally, a portion of the Sip & Shop and Rummage Sale proceeds will fund our community grants that focus on four community pillars:
– Youth Advocacy
– Health Initiatives
– Food and Nutrition Security
– Housing Advocacy
