New High-Rise Hotel Could Soon Be Coming To Myrtle Beach
The new 24-story oceanfront hotel would be located along 23rd Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard.
Myrtle Beach City Council members decided to move forward with rezoning plans during Tuesday’s meeting.
The plans would pave the way for a new high-rise hotel to be added to the Grand Strand.
The new 24-story oceanfront hotel would be located along 23rd Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard. It will also have a four-story parking garage.
The project is expected to cost over $100 million and aims to improve accommodations available to visitors.
There will also be a mobile check-in lot, a canopied plaza and space for restaurants.
The rezoning request will now go back to city council for a second reading before passing.
