Mattel Releases New Version Of Scrabble

Mattel has released a new version of ‘Scrabble.’

The game has been around for over 75 years, entertaining players competing to see who can make the highest score words from a random selection of letters.

The new version dubbed ‘Scrabble Together’ adds a second side to the board. The new side is collaborative and faster-paced to make game-play more accessible for anyone who finds word games intimidating.

Instead of competing, players collaborate to complete goal cards, and there are helper cards if assistance is required.

The new version aims to “bring people together.”

The updated version will only be released across Europe for now. However, there is a possibility it could to the U.S. in the future.
