Walmart Agrees To Pay $40 Million In Class Action Lawsuit

The lawsuit alleges that Walmart shoppers who purchased certain sold-by-weight meats, seafood and select citrus sold in bulk bags, paid more than the lowest price advertised in stores.

Walmart has agreed to a settlement in regards to a class action lawsuit.

The lawsuit alleges that Walmart shoppers who purchased certain sold-by-weight meats, seafood and select citrus sold in bulk bags, paid more than the lowest price advertised in stores.

Walmart has denied the allegations and any wrongdoing. However, the retailer agreed to pay $45 million to settle the litigation.

Impacted consumers can now submit claims for cash payments.
