Two Dead And Seven Others Injured During Florida Shooting

Two people are dead and seven others were injured in a shooting that occurred in Florida.

The shooting took place at a Miami-Dade shopping center shortly before 8am on Saturday.

A physical altercation between patrons at the Martini Bar in CityPlace Doral prompted a security guard to intervene. One of the patrons in the fight pulled a gun and shot the security officer which resulted in his death.

Other security officers then exchanged gunfire with the suspect which resulted in his death as well.

During the shooting, two women, four men, and a Doral police officer were also injured. Two of which are in critical condition while the others are expected to be okay.

An investigation is ongoing.
