Robeson Co. Police Search For Man Wanted In Connection To Shooting

37-year-old Donavan Chavis and 17-year-old Jakoby Chavis are both listed in critical condition.

Robeson County police are asking for help in locating a wanted man.

Investigators have obtained warrants for 18-year-old Jamie Wallen. He is believed to be the suspect of a shooting that occurred Friday night.

Around 7:30pm, police were called to Spruce Lane in the Rennert Community on reports of two people being shot.

The victims were taken to a hospital by privately owned vehicles before deputies arrived.

37-year-old Donavan Chavis and 17-year-old Jakoby Chavis are both listed in critical condition. They were reportedly injured during a drive-by shooting.

Wallen is wanted on two counts of attempted first-degree murder along with other charges related to the shooting. He is considered armed and dangerous.
