Israeli troops are withdrawing from parts of Gaza.
Israeli Defense Forces have withdrawn from Khan Younis. The city was once home to over 40,000 people who fled when IDF operations began in the area nearly four months ago.
Though Israeli troops are retracting from the area, military officials said troops were “far from stopping” operations in Gaza.
IDF still plans to move into Rafah where around 1.5 million Palestinians are sheltering amid the ongoing war.
In other news, plans for aid to enter Gaza via the Erez crossing for the first time in six months have been delayed. Israel approved the reopening last week after pressure from the U.S. increased. The increased pressure came following a recent strike that left seven foreign-aid workers dead.
