16-Year-Old Arrested In Connection To A Shooting Incident

The teen faces charges of discharging a weapon into a dwelling and unlawful carry of a weapon.

An arrest has been made in connection to a Florence shooting.

On Wednesday afternoon, police were called to the IGA at Pamplico Highway and Howe Spring Road on reports of shots fired. No one was injured in the shooting.

Police were reportedly searching for a car described as a yellow sports car, possibly a Camaro, believed to be involved.

Authorities later received information about a possible sighting of the suspected vehicle at a home on Spiral Lane. They executed a search warrant and arrested a 16-year-old boy. He was taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice. The teen faces charges of discharging a weapon into a dwelling and unlawful carry of a weapon.
