Dollar Tree To Increase Price Cap In Its Stores

The increase is part of Dollar Tree's multi-price point strategy to offer shoppers a more "relevant assortment."

Dollar Tree announced plans to increase its current price cap.

A $5 cap was set last June after the company raised the base price of items in its stores to $1.25.

Now, the retailer is increasing its prices ranging from $1.50 to $7.

The higher cost products will include food, pet and personal care items.
