A Georgetown County student is facing disciplinary action after allegedly making threats against a school.
The 14-year-old Carvers Bay Middle School student is accused of sending a text to another student.
The message included threats to “shoot up” the school Monday.
When confronted, the boy admitted to sending the text.
The student’s home was searched and no credible threat was found.
The child will now be subject to Georgetown County School District’s disciplinary policy.
