Man Arrested After Allegedly Attempting To Rob Five People
Five people informed officers that a man walked in with a gun sporting a ski mask and demanded their money and purses.
A man is facing several charges after allegedly attempting to rob five people at a volunteer operated charity.
Around 4:20pm on Thursday, police responded to the Associated Charities on Lumber Street in Myrtle Beach on reports of an armed robbery.
Upon arrival, five people informed officers that a man walked in with a gun sporting a ski mask and demanded their money and purses.
The suspect ended up fleeing without taking anything and no injuries were reported.
59-year-old Alexander Browne was later detained on Saturday. He faces charges of five counts of attempted robbery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, kidnapping and felon in possession of a firearm.
