Ferroglobe To Open First Operations In South Carolina

The $20 million investment will open a location along Brickyard Road in the Wallace area of Marlboro County. 

Ferroglobe is set to open its first operations in South Carolina.

The company is a global producer and has 25 operations around the world and produces silicon metal and other silicon-based alloys for things like aluminum, solar cells, semiconductors and batteries.

The $20 million investment will open a location along Brickyard Road in the Wallace area of Marlboro County.

The new operations will create 19 new jobs for the area.
