Man Arrested In Connection To Laundromat Shooting

The victim was treated at the scene before being transported to a hospital. His condition is considered to be serious.

We now have an update on a shooting incident that occurred on Monday.

35-year-old Adius Bathelemy was found suffering from a gunshot wound outside of Wash House Laundromat on East Second Street in Lumberton.

Police identified the suspect as 32-year-old Desmond Noid who was wanted in relation to the shooting.

Noid was arrested Tuesday. He has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and simple assault.

The suspect is being held at the Robeson County Detention Center.
