The game between Wilson High School and Darlington was stopped when gunshots were fired near the Darlington fields.
An investigation revealed the shots came from Plum Street, which is in Darlington County and not under the city’s jurisdiction.
No one was hurt but the stands were cleared out of precaution.
The shots fired incident is now being investigated by the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office.
