Teen Arrested After Shots Fired Call In Georgetown County

One 16-year-old was in possession of a stolen 9mm pistol with an extended magazine.

A teen was arrested in Georgetown County Wednesday after a shots fired call.

Officers reported to the area of Gilbert Street and Alex Alford Drive around 6pm.

Upon arrival, they found a group of juveniles at the intersection of Gilbert and Merriman Road.

The minors fled on foot after seeing law enforcement but were quickly detained.

One 16-year-old was in possession of a stolen 9mm pistol with an extended magazine. He was arrested and charged with aggravated breach of peace and possession of a stolen firearm.
