Conway Walmart Fire Now Being Investigated As Act Of Arson

No one was injured and the immediate area around the fire was closed off to the public.

A fire that broke out at a Walmart in Conway is being investigated as arson.

Around 1:20pm last Monday, Conway firefighters were called to the Walmart located on Church Street on reports of a structure fire.

Upon arrival, the flames had been put out.

No one was injured and the immediate area around the fire was closed off to the public.

Officers have confirmed the fire was intentionally set. However, details are limited in reference to how the fire was started or why arson is suspected.

No arrests have been made and an investigation is still underway.
