Spring is right around the corner and if you are prone to allergies, you might want to start preparing. As winter gives way to spring and tree budding time appears…allergy season will re-emerge with all of those pollens floating in the air. Symptoms include itchy eyes, nose and throat, sneezing, coughing, congestion and post-nasal drip. Cleveland Clinic doctors say to do some simple things to cope; like, keep windows closed despite warm temps, change clothes and shower at night to ward off allergens you bring in during the day. Try to keep pets off your bed as well. They also recommend taking nasal steroids, and oral and nasal antihistamines to combat itching, sneezing and dripping.
