Suspect Arrested In Connection To December Shooting

32-year-old Angelo Townsend is accused of shooting a victim and sending them to the hospital before fleeing the scene.

An arrest was made in connection to a December shooting incident.

On December 2, a shooting occurred in the Florence area along Sneed Road.

32-year-old Angelo Townsend is accused of shooting a victim and sending them to the hospital before fleeing the scene.

Townsend was publicly identified as the gunman the following day and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

On Friday, he was arrested after a traffic stop in Berkeley County. Townsend is now being held at the Florence County Detention Center on a $15,000 surety bond.

The suspect faces charges of attempted murder.
